Fetal-Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD’s):

What We All Need to Know: According to the CDC, up to 1 in 20 U.S. school children may have FASDs.  Yet, clinicians and families are unfamiliar with the impacts an FASD can have on a child, family and systems.  There are huge gaps in services all across the U.S. in which states do not have any therapeutic programming specifically for children and families who are impacted.  There is a nation-wide movement led by a variety of caring individuals interested in educating the public and working towards creative interventions to meet the need.

HALO Project is joining this movement and desires to bring education and intervention to providers and families in Oklahoma.  Please join us for our first comprehensive basics training.  We will be sharing facts and stats as well as current interventions used across the U.S.   We will also be sharing our insights from working with those impacted by FASDs over the last couple years.  Participants will be getting a sneak peek at some of the strategies HALO will be using in our newest curriculum designed specifically for children and families with an FASD
