It’s back to school time! This is usually an exciting for kids and parents alike, though it looks a little different this year. All families are facing new challenges, but children in foster care are still experiencing many of the same—they feel out of place, unsupported, and unloved. Especially at a time when everything is up in the air, HALO kids need to be grounded in knowing that people care for them.
That’s why we’re kicking off 100 Days of Caring. By the 100th day of school, we want to celebrate with our HALO kids by showing that 100 people care for them.
In these special 100 Days of Caring, it is our goal to welcome 100 people or organizations as donors to HALO. Together, we’ll raise important funds to help heal children from hard places in need, but also have a little fun! You will have the opportunity to participate in Caring Contests and unlock special experiences for HALO kids and families.
During these 100 Days, a Caring Wall will be created where the names of every donor will be displayed. The Caring Wall will be a visual affirmation for every child who walks past. They will KNOW that people from across our community care for them.
Will you join us in showing HALO kids you care?
